Dolpemyraa
I am Gjermund Groven and am the CIO of Dolpemyraa. I have been an investor in the stock markets since 2008, and an active stock picker since 2011. My background is that I have a Masters in Finance from NHH (Norwegian School of Economics).
Dolpemyrå AS was founded in 2018 by me and my twin brother. Since inception the investments we’ve made have returned 117% (as of 10. September 2021).
Background for Dolpemyraa
- The name of the portfolio has its origin from a typical small Norwegian farm. Not that impressive by first glance, but able to create great value over time.
- We are exclusively invested in the commodities space. The main focus has been in the uranium sector (50%) with the addition of gold and silver (40%) and other commodities like copper and tin.
- The commodity sector is very volatile. Without a very strong conviction in the thesis, you will be thrown off by the volatility.
- Our highest conviction trade has been uranium. We entered this sector in april 2019 and it has been our main focus.
